I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Headteacher at Beenham Primary School. Although we find ourselves in exceptional circumstances with having to provide learning remotely since the beginning of term, I have received a very warm welcome from the staff, children and parents and am excited about being part of the next phase in the school’s journey.
We are all very proud of our great school which has extremely high aspirations for all children, both academically and in terms of their pastoral care. There is a strong family ethos, underpinned by good old-fashioned values such as respect, co-operation, care and responsibility. Values Education is core to our work at the school.
Our mission statement is Valuing ourselves. Valuing everybody.
Essentially, it means that we can develop an appreciation for and tolerance of others around us when we develop our core personal values, which helps us to know and understand ourselves.
The staff are highly motivated, hard-working and passionate about children's learning. They are learning focussed and are committed to personal continuing professional development to ensure that they have a good understanding of subjects that they teach and the best way to help children learn.
Governors are very active in their roles and parents are supportive of their children and the school. Everyone works together, which enables our children to have a successful education at Beenham Primary School. We strongly believe in working together as a community and hope you will enjoy the ample opportunities to become involved in our school life
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school office (0118 9713397) or email to make an appointment.
